It looks to be a fairly busy evening at the town office tonight. There are two delegations, and one variation hearing at the town’s council meeting this evening. On the delegation list are George Van der Walt regarding a temporary rugby field, as well as Bernard Gramyk and Mitch Bruneau presumably looking for the town’s support in opening a new tattoo shop in Swan River. Under correspondence, there are two letters from Manitoba Local Government – one regarding amalgamation, and the second about the 2014 board of revision. There is also a letter regarding a dog park. The conditional use application by the Sapatoyek Cree Nation comes up under unfinished business. Under new business, parking along 3rd street north, which can be tough during school hours, comes up. Tonight’s meeting gets underway at 7:30.
