Road Safety Week Wraps Up

Swan River RCMP have tallied their numbers from National Road Safety Week. Last week, officers across the country focused on enforcement in terms of distracted driving, impaired driving, speeding, and other offenses. Here in the valley, officers charged one person with being impaired by drugs, 8 for speeding or aggressive driving, one intersection offense, one person with driving while suspended, as well as three other liquor or highway traffic act offenses. National Road Safety Week wrapped up yesterday.
