Bear Safety Tips

Manitoba Conservation officials are still on the hunt for a bear that was seen roaming around the east side of Swan River this morning. Conservation officials are warning the public that they should remove anything from yards that may attract bears. Manitoba Wildlife Biologist Dean Berezanski tells CJ104 that garbage is the number one attractant.

Conservation officials dealt with two other incidents over the long weekend involving what they confirm were two separate bears.
