Gas Leak Forces Evacuations

Swan River Fire crews were called into action this morning after a gas leak. The leak happened at the construction site of the Rec and Wellness Centre. It’s believed that construction crews accidently hit a gas line while working at the site. Nearby home and businesses were evacuated as a precaution, and the students and staff at the SVRSS were forced to stay indoors while crews assessed the situation.
