Trasncanada Crash

RCMP are investigating after a semi and a vehicle collided on the Trans-Canada Highway just west of Portage la Prairie Wednesday afternoon. Emergency crews rushed to the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 16 around 2 p.m. to find a semi-trailer hauling hogs and a vehicle had collided. The two people riding in the vehicle died in the crash, but the driver of the semi was uninjured.
