The company that operates the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy has been fined over 77 thousand dollars for tax evasion. The Canada Revenue Agency says that Haverluck Enterprises, which operates the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy, pleaded guilty in Dauphin Provincial Court to the charges. The corporation failed to report nearly 482-thousand dollars in the 2004, 2005, and 2006 tax years. The company was fined 77 thousand 130 dollars. The unreported income included benefits received from a pharmaceutical company that provided over 100 thousand dollars of household furniture, a custom wine cellar and a golf cart. A drug wholesaler also paid for a family wedding and another golf cart that were improperly claimed as business expenses. Personal expenses of Myles Haverluck, who is one of the corporation’s directors, were also falsely claimed as pharmacy purchases or advertising expenditures.
