Wildfires Continue

Officials are hoping cooler weather will help control fires burning in southeastern Manitoba but say it's too early to tell if they can be brought under control today. Officials say that the fire around the village of Badger is "somewhat under control" and will determine later today whether residents can return. Officials estimate that the fire in the RM of Piney covers about 900 hectares.
