Strong Winds Hammer Southern MB

A storm that hammered southern Manitoba Monday night brought winds up to 101 km/h. Trees toppled, the air was filled with dust, and power was knockout to a handful of communities. There were also possible tornado sightings in the Plum Coulee, Elie and West St. Paul areas. Power has since been restored to a number of areas including Steinbach, Carman, Selkirk, and Portage la Prairie.
