Airport Commission Budget

The Swan Valley Airport Commission has finalized its 2012 budget. The largest expense on the budget is for runway maintenance, which includes winter snow removal. The airport management fee, which is charged by the Town of Swan River, has increased by 720 percent, according to airport commission president Lorne Henkelman. Last year, the charge was 25-hundred dollars, and in 2012 it is 18-THOUSAND dollars. The total budget of the airport commission for 2012 is 89-thousand dollars.
