Train Derailment in Southern MB

The cause of a train derailment in Southern Manitoba is still under investigation. Highway 13 near Oakville has re-opened after it was closed much of Tuesday night due to a train derailment. CN Rail officials confirm that an eastbound freight train carrying wheat went into an emergency stop. Sparks from the incident ignited a grassfire beside the truck. Piles of old rail ties also caught fire.
