Work to repair damage in provincial parks caused by the 2011 flood is well underway. Temporary beach and day-use area repairs at Blue Lakes Campground in the Duck Mountain Provincial Park are to be completed by July 1. Tracy Elbourne, Head of Recreation Programs for Manitoba Parks tells CJ104 that work started last summer and continued through the spring this year.

The provincial government is also reminding you that the upcoming long weekend will be liquor free in all provincial parks.
