Swan River indoor pool is nearly ready to re-open. The facility was closed when metal fragments from the cables supporting sound baffles began falling on the pool deck and in the water.
Town of Swan River CAO Derek Poole tells CJ104 that the cables have now all been removed and the pool is set to open to the public on April 29th, 2022.
When the pool re-open the sound baffles will not be in place but that should have no effect on operations.
Meanwhile a lawsuit over the defects in the pool continues but there is no timeline for resolution.
