Swan River’s CT Scanner Online

The new CT Scanner at the Swan Valley Health Centre is officially online. On July 31st, 2024 dignitaries gathered to recognize the many contributions to the project. A local investment of $1,000,000 was made possible by numerous fundraising events, donations and contributions from the four area municipalities. The scanner has been operating for a few weeks already and has already done over 400 scans. Most of those scans were for area residents who did not have to travel outside of the community as they would have in the past. But, some scans are being done for out of town patients including from Saskatchewan, Roblin and Russell.
