Former Chief Talks Fire

Former Virden Fire Chief Brad Yochim is in Swan River tonight to share the concept of one fire department for an area. Yochim will explain the success in the Virden area of various fire departments working together as one. He will also speak on the concept of mutual aid between departments. Yochim will deliver the message to council members including those from Swan Valley West. That council is busy building their own fire department one mile from the existing Swan River fire hall.
